Diwali 2021
This week our learners have been looking at the festival of Diwali. Diwali is a religious celebration that takes place annually and lasts for 5 days. The festival marks the start of the Hindu New Year.
Hindus celebrate by lighting up their homes, giving gifts, eating special food and sending Diwali cards. Diwali is a time of joy, where families spend time together.
Some learners in Group 3 decided they would like to send Diwali cards to join in the celebrations!
