As part of the Raising Aspirations Project, working with the Sunderland North Area Committee Keep Britain Tidy are organising litter picks across Castletown, Hylton Castle and Town End Farm.

We know our children and young people care deeply about their local area and are left frustrated about the amount of litter cluttering the streets, parks and green spaces.

Keep Britain Tidy have launched the Great Big School Clean, taking place between 20 March – 13 April 2020. They thought this would be a great opportunity to get children and young people from the local area involved in litter picks.
