Year 8 have been reading the playscript of Dracula. After reading some of the book, the learners were tasked with writing a descriptive paragraph of Dracula's castle. 

Year 9 learners have been reading 'the Boy in the Stiped Pyjamas'. After reading the beginning of the book, they were asked to write a diary entry from 'Bruno's' point of view of him moving house so suddenly. 

Both year groups made great references to the text and used descriptive language throughout their work.
