KS4 learners have been beginning to analyse sources in lessons this week. Learners demonstrated their ability to both retrieve relevant information and identify language features and word types to analyse. Learners used their inference skills to comment upon the effects of the writer's choice of language.
Using a mark scheme that relates to GCSE AQA assessment objectives, learners then self-assessed their work highlighting the strengths of their work and setting a target for what they could improve upon next time.
