Newcastle Central Mosque | PHSE Trip

Learners from Trinity Academy New Bridge recently attended the Newcastle Central Mosque as part of their PSHE curriculum.
They met Brother Khadim who explained the many Islamic traditions, including the five pillars, the Hajj and they were especially interested in how much preparation is needed before prayers.
The visit helped broaden the learners’ religious and cultural understanding by giving them the chance to explore the traditions and practices of the mosque, and it strengthened their awareness of shared values such as kindness, respect, and unity.
