Oral Hygiene
This week we had South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust in to teach the learners the importance of brushing their teeth and dental hygiene.
All learners participated and interacted well in the sessions. They learnt about gum disease, tooth decay and how much sugar is in certain food and drink. Did you know that there are 35 teaspoons of sugar in a standard bag of jelly babies?!
