Science at the Acorn House

This week, Acorn House were learning about stars and the night sky. They enjoyed looking at pictures of different constellations and learning that a constellation is a group of stars that forms a pattern in the sky.

To explore this further, the children made their own constellations using spaghetti and salt dough. They carefully rolled the dough into small balls to represent stars and used pieces of spaghetti to join them together. This hands-on activity helped develop their fine motor skills as well as their creativity.

The learners were very proud of their constellation designs. It was a fun and engaging way to learn about science, encouraging curiosity, imagination, and teamwork.
