Super Scientists
In science, year 8 have been preparing for their next term's learning - 'Atoms and Elements', by recalling their knowledge of states of matter.
Learners have impressed with their scientific vocabulary, using words such as particle, molecule and state confidently.
This week, learners have drawn particle models, carried out reversible changes as well as using their scientific reasoning skills to design a device that will melt chocolate!
Maddie's contraption melted the chocolate the quickest and was made out of tin foil, Lego and clay.
