Trampolining

During Enrichment our learners have the opportunity to expand and fulfil their sensory dietary needs by taking part in trampolining sessions.

Trampolining offers our learners the opportunity to improve their balance, co-ordination and motor skills whilst also offering friendly competition and a way to burn off all that energy they bounce into school with each day! 

Helping our learners to regulate their energy increases their levels of calm and alleviates stress offering a way for our learners to take ownership of their emotions and stops that build up of stress we often see as the school day goes on.

Our learners have been working hard to learn trampolining skills and put them into a routine. Skills have included drops such as seat drop, back drop and swivel hips, tuck, pike and straddle jumps as well as front and back flips.
