When the Learner Becomes the Teacher!
It is said that the best way to embed and develop new skills is to be able to teach someone else what you know. Mr Burns provides opportunities within his maths lessons for the learners to become the teacher! By making use of the interactive smart board, a learner can demonstrate their understanding and application of a maths topic by teaching the concept to Mr Burns.
Here one of our year 9 learners is showcasing his knowledge of percentages by talking through a number sentence and showing how to apply learning to work out the correct answer.
