Year 9 Artwork!
Year 9 are currently working on an entomology project where they are creating work around a study of different insects. They have spent the past few weeks developing a lino tile of a beetle. Before being able to complete the lino-printing workshop, they needed to create a drawing and transfer that to the tile.
They have enjoyed cutting away the areas that did not need to be printed leaving the beetle in relief. Once various prints were produced, learners then worked into them using oil pastel.
