Trinity Academy New Bridge has been awarded the Great Active Sunderland Charter Mark status for the first time in 20-21 for our engagement in promoting a Healthy, Active School. The award recognises those schools in Sunderland who place PE & School Sport at the heart of their school offer. This year the award has been achieved by giving the students the opportunity to take part in new activities such as virtual competitions through the School Games Network and Panathlon, the morning Daily Mile and extra-curricular clubs such as Basketball. The school has also established links with Sunderland Rowing Club and the Change 4 Life Sunderland Team. Future plans include connecting with our local Primary School for Sports Leadership and sports clubs for both Golf and Fishing.
